There is no way to disable the notification that goes out to volunteers that they have been removed from an opportunity. Sometimes this needs to stay internal and this notification can either sound rude or confusing.

It would be great to have an email sent to all registered volunteers every time a new opportunity is posted. Or alternatively, once a month (or every so often) with a list of new opportunities for example.
