It would be extremely helpful if our volunteer system included an auto check-out feature. We’re noticing that some volunteers are reporting 478 hours while others show 121, simply because they forget to check out. In reality, most volunteer opportunities and our retail center shifts wouldn’t exceed 8 hours. A great solution would be a feature that allows the admin to set a maximum time for specific opportunities—for example, automatically checking out all volunteers at 5 PM when our retail center closes. For special events that run later, like those ending at 11 PM, the feature could be disabled to accommodate the longer schedule. This flexibility would help keep our records accurate and minimize manual corrections.
