Custom data tracking other than hours (miles, #patients, etc)

When I asked during onboarding if we could track things other than hours, I was told it would have to be hand written in the notes when hours are entered. If I may make a suggestion.... Lots of Non-Profits track things other than hours for grant purposes. Distance Driven, Students in Class, Patients Visited... If there was a way to add a "Custom Data Field" where the hours are entered either by staff or volunteers, where we could customize the data we need to track, and have the option for multiple data fields if needed? This would enable us to actually track this data when running our reports in a usable way. Thank you for listening!
