Specific Schedule (Shift) Link for Pending Coverage Needs

It would be helpful to have a feature (similar to 'Insert Schedule') that can be used to link a shift that needs coverage. For example: In the event that an event date is approaching and event manager finds that a specific shift is needing coverage or you have a volunteer that indicates they cannot make the shift - An email can be sent linking the exact shift(s) that need coverage and the recipient can click the link to open shift and register.
