Archive Past Shifts in an opportunity

It would be great for past shifts to be archived without losing the records. If I can someone's role, it removes them from any shift in the past where they had that role. It makes changing the system more difficult because we will lose past records. It also means when someone goes to shifts, they'll sometimes jump up to the first shift they ever worked and they have to scroll all the way back down.
