Volunteer receives confirmation notification of successful shift sign up
Volunteers are used to receiving email or push notifications to confirm their successful sign up to a shift.
We would also like a "Shift Sign Up Acknowledgement" automation. Help chat support just told me this doesn't exist. I had all of our opportunities automations set up for the "specific step" send option for "shift" and it was sending out blank emails if people just looked at a shift, not when they signed up.
Please advise how to set this up!!
Melissa, it isn't automatic. Do we have to set up every single thing?

You can achieve this by creating an email automation for "Signup Workflow (Volunteer Action)" that triggers once they complete Shift Selection.
