This would add more customization to the Latest Transaction and other transaction-type calculated fields to include/exclude various transaction types (e.g., soft credits, recurring payments, etc.) from the value returned. This also considers allowing Fair Market Value to be included in the calculation.
Without this option, the latest transaction field is functionally useless for my organization and only causes confusion. I'm instructing staff to ignore it and only use summaries.
I continue to run into this issue as DAFs increase, and it makes some reporting useless (lifetime giving, for example). All transaction fields should have the option to include soft credits.
Completely agree. It's very confusing if I'm looking at a constituent's total giving for a given period, but the Latest Transaction column says they haven't given during that time.
Many donors give exclusively through DAFs as well. It's important to be able to see the soft credits under Latest / Largest Transaction for these donors.
I would say also add the ability to add it to the Total Revenue.
The ability to include Soft Credit is especially important as DAF gifts increase.
