Archived Profiles/Records

I would like the ability to archive old volunteers files. Once I remove a volunteer from the organization, I lose their data. Sometimes volunteers return or inquire months or years down the road about thir time with us ( start date, hours etc..,). Although I make them inactive, they still show in my current volunteer list. I would like to have a seperate list.
