Age and gender requirements for opportunities.

I have volunteer opportunities that are only open to 18+ and others that are only available to 12+. I would love to see that when a volunteer puts their birthdate on the registration form, for a pop up to happen that would allow my organization to craft a message, telling the registrant that they are under the age requirement and that they need to contact the volunteer coordinator or another message.


I also can see future programs needing to only allow a particular gender within a volunteer opportunity. This would have the same function as the age requirement.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for your feedback; we are looking into this feature request.

    In the meantime, there is a way you can achieve this through assigning hidden qualifications on Form Question Responses, and then assigning those qualifications to HIDE the opporutnity from displaying to the volunteer with those qualifications.


    For example, in the form question, you can ask, "Are you above the age of +18?" with a Yes/No response. If they respond "No", set up the system to auto-assign the "Below 18" qualification. Then, in your Visibility Settings for the Opportunity, select "Hide this Opporutnity from people with the 'Below 18' qualification".
