Currently when clocking in on-site via our tablet, the volunteer checks in via their opportunity and then they need to select YES, check-in. This has led to confusion, because the volunteer thinks that they have clocked in after the initial signing. So we have volunteers that think they clocked in, but only to find when they go to clock out that they did not clock in.
My work desk is next to the check in kiosk and this happens on an almost daily basis. It is confusing due to the fact that you only have to click once to check out and twice to check in. It would be helpful to align these two processes.
I agree that this feature is hard for some volunteers to understand. They believe they are clocked in when they confirm the first YES. It has been a learning curve for most of the volunteers but is still missed multiple times a week.
I get this feedback (at the very least) on a weekly basis from our volunteers. It does cause them frustration. It would be nice to not have them have to confirm twice that they are clocking in (especially since they don't have to confirm it twice to clock out)
