Add enhanced relative date filtering and columns

I need to be able to create report filters and column data that have relative dates that are more flexible than the limited options currently available. For example, I need to create a report with columns that dynamically shows revenue for each of the last 12 months relative to today's date. Another example would include having a year-to-date revenue column compared to last year's revenue relative to that date.
