This is a huge need for my organization. I want to use this for our donor management, but am still having to use a custom field but I have too many limits in the current set up.
For a fundraising platform, it's definitely missing key FUNDRAISER features (like a portfolio or work center). We ended up creating a custom field for Account Managers so we can add multiple accounts to a fundraiser. It's a workaround, but it's not an ideal solution.
I just took the live Moves Management webinar training course. And multiple attendees asked about being able to do a bulk update, adding numerous constituents to one relationship manager at once. The trainer said it's not a feature. I am utterly perplexed as to why this doesn't exist. I see many comments below echoing the same thought. Are we supposed to manually select each constituent > go to their relationships tab > assign new RM and save? What......???
From what I can tell this feature was introduced less than a year ago. Is the expectation that clients with thousands of constituents are going to MANUALLY update each one with a relationship manager? Rolling this out without bulk import makes this (another) incomplete feature.
I use the Import function regularly to update Constituent records in bulk and adding the Relationship Manager as one of the importable columns should be very easy and is an important add-on. Please prioritize.
It's extremely disappointing that Bloomerang would roll out a new Relationship Manager feature (that we're very excited to utilize) but not give us the option to bulk update. The whole point of Bloomerang is to manage thousands of constituents, so why they wouldn't allow bulk updates for Relationship Manager upon launch of this feature is beyond my comprehension. We are not going to manually go into hundreds of our donor records and individually assign a user as a Relationship Manager one at a time. Until a bulk update feature becomes available, the Relationship Manager tool is unfeasible for our organization to use.

This would be extremely useful as a team brings on new employees to evenly distribute relationships and re-arrange them amongst team members.
Unable to bulk update relationship manager or import as a constituent field.
