Default view/filter when updating opportunities

I would love if when I choose a "filter" setting when in the opportunities tab, that it would stay defaulted to what you chose.

Example: I have a lot of "open" opportunities that i am working on and editing and my default view is to see all opportunities, even ones that are hidden, so I have to scroll through so many to find the one I want to work on updating.

I choose the "filter" option above and click on "view open opps" or "members only" but if you leave the page or edit something and go back to the main page with all opportunities, that setting is gone and it doesn't stay in the same view. This wastes time and becomes super frustrating to deal with when trying to make quick changes.
