Customize Online Donation Form Styles

100% agree. We create different donation forms for different campaigns, yet they all look the same. This is so confusing. Also wish we could apply a unique URL slug to each form.

This would be fantastic! The fact that we can't easily use a square logo, or use customizable colors is really detracting from the visual appeal of online giving.

The fact that this has been posted for years, has accumulated hundreds of votes, and is still tagged with the status of "Not Prioritized" has me losing faith in Bloomerang. Why even have this forum for user idea sharing if Bloomerang won't take these suggestions seriously? I feel those decision makers are actively ignoring our collective voice. When my colleagues ask me for my opinion on Bloomerang, the issue of ugly giving forms will certainly influence my answer. I cannot in good faith recommend a database to others when current users are forced to buy add-on packages just to do something as simple as change the font settings on an online form.

Bloomerang employees, I know you're reading this. Make a change.

I recently had a donor reach out to me saying that the outdated ness of the donation form made them feel like our website and donation process was less official, made them concerned it was a scam. I just tried Q-Giv and they have beautiful forms, but lack the customization of data that Bloomerang offers meaning donations are less detailed when they sync to Bloomerang. I'm glad I found this out in the beginning because I will not be renewing my Q-Giv subscription. Please please allow us to customize at least the appearance of the form OR update your standard donation form to not be in type-writer 11 point font.

Kindful has really outdated features and not very customizable. Tsetting up teams and allowing team members to add multiple photos or set their own fundraising goals. It also needs a "Become a Fundraiser" button so people can directly sign up as team members and not have to be invited

Agree why is nothing being done - I just got my annual invoice and pay $410 annually for Kindful which is extremely outdated but sold as a wonderfully enhanced solution for online giving pages, crowd funding, etc. While you have made some integration steps to Bloomerang it is still horribly outdated in function and look. We were sold Kindful for a big campaign and then switched all of our smaller fundraising groups to this. Some of those now won't use it and our going out on their own with Give Butter. It's free and the processing fees are same as Bloomerang payments 2.9% + .30. Bloomerang is now Credit and debit cards have a 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction fee. Automatic credit card updates are applied for all credit card types, so you don’t have to worry about recurring payments failing if the expiration date on a donor’s card has changed.

Stripe nonprofit rate is Stripe offers a discounted rate for eligible US and Canadian registered nonprofits. The basic nonprofit rate is 2.2% + $. 30 for Visa / MasterCard transactions and is higher for AmEx and international cards.

Now Bloomerang has added an additional 1% platform fee on third party processors. I still have a handful of recurring gifts that are on Stripe, now I'm penalized for those. This 1% on third party is greed.

If you want your customers on Bloomerang Payments and Kindful then update the system to give your customers what they want.

Why is this a year old and nothing has been done? I was at nonprofit conference yesterday with more than 60 organizations, many use Bloomerang. In the discussion on Crowd and Peer to Peer everyone using Bloomerang and also Kindful cause you have to expressed how horrible it is. Give Butter got praises and they are uploading data to Bloomerang. Can we make some improvements - the imaging is horribly outdated.

Yes - please. Bloomerang's online giving form is awful looking. It's nice that we can embed the form on our website and customize it there, but it's 18-20 pages of code that have to be embedded and for nonprofits outsourcing their website maintenance/updates, it can be costly.

Customized Online donation forms are the most demanded request here, not sure why they it's not being prioritized by Bloomerang! They keep on rolling out updates for other features which are not highly requested, while 275 votes are showing as under consideration for a long time! Really disappointed!!!!!!!

I added Kindful to have a nice donation page. It is better but still so/so. Needs to be better and all payment options available. Venmo, Apple Pay, etc.. The pages for Crowd Fundraising in Kindful are awful. Hard to create and the extremely limited in photos. It's been almost 3 years and only minor changes.

The Kindful forms are more visually appealing but are an additional cost and unfortunately dont have the back end functionality of Bloomerang. I agree this is the highest priority to please do something ASAP! We need to be able to customize forms for monthly donors, specific campaigns, etc. I was refered to an outside consultant a few years ago to customize a form and paid him a few hundred dollars and now then wanted me to pay them annually to host the form?!?! that is outrageous and Bloomerang should never allow this.

The donation forms need updated customizability ASAP! Having nice-looking and customizable donation forms is something that was sold to us as guaranteed in Bloomerang, only to find out we must use Kindful to get form options beyond the very basic one Bloomerang provides.

I called several times to the supports team if they can request the developer's to please focus on enhancing and developing customizable online donations forms. We are currently in process of migrating from Salsa to Bloomerang and I am amazed to see how old and outdated the donation forms are in Bloomerang and Kindful! Small Companies like Salsa have the best donation form templates that you can customize according to your organizations needs while Bloomerang being a much larger company still lacks this basic feature. 218 people voted to enhanced customized online donation forms here and yet it's still showing under consideration since 2022. Hope the developers prioritize this feature to be able to gain new customers and retain existing users. It's vital for all nonprofits to have presentable online donation forms to be able to generate funds and more.

I agree completely. Bloomerang is great on the back end, but pretty awful on the donation forms. Many other donation processors boast custom donation forms, A/B testing on donation forms, and some very cool tools. Bloomerang's donation form looks like a 1990 Yahoo website form. It's extremely rudimentary, and quite frankly, embarrassing. It's a glaring weakness of Bloomerange, compared to your competitors.

Yes, if you. know HTML you can customize it, but how many people running non-profits really want to do that? It shouldn't be this hard to get a nice, professional, attractive, customized donation form. We can customize Emails, but we can't customize donation forms. Why?

Correct me if I am wrong, but can't you only a more colors/font sizes/ec. if you know code?

This is a problem for accessibility, too. Many of our donors are of an age where they need the text to be larger or have better contrast. Please allow more customization!

The only thing Kindful has been useful for is the donation page plug-in or donation page set-up. If Bloomerang would just make the text bolder, larger, more like what is available on Kindful, it would eliminate the need to use Kindful for us. It has been super frustrating because I though Paypal would be an optioin on Kindful, but it isn't for Bloomerang customers!!! So why advertise it at all if that feature is not available. PayPal, venmo, and Apple Pay are very popular and are the only way some people will make a donation. Please consider adding these features!!

Not only the branding customizations but multiple ways to, say, buy tickets to an event. We have a dinner every year and offer multiple meal choices with options on quantity - AND the option to make an additional donation. I ended up having to use Gravity Forms on our Wordpress site. The whole point of signing up for Bloomerang was to streamline the processes and track constituent purchases and donations - and not have to export our forms and enter into Bloomerang. Please make these forms more editable!!!
