I would like a way to turn this option OFF. We have always added the tributes in if someone passed and left memorials to us and now every time someone donates in memory or honor of someone it creates a new tribute if they spell the name wrong or differently. This is extremely frustrating when families ask for names of donors that donated in memory of their loved one.
Also, the default email we get when someone makes a donation "in honor of" or "in memory of" includes NO indication of this. So we have to make a workaround with a report to make sure we "catch" any donations with tribute in order to then (1) manually enter the tribute info into the built-in tribute areas of the Bloomerang donation page AND (2) send out any appropriate notifications to the tribute individuals. TERRIBLE workflow!!
Please add this! There is a section for tribute on a donation but there's no way to include that mapped information on a form. We have to make a custom field for our constituents and then manually add the information to the default tribute section? Why?
If you have set everything up in Bloomerang's settings, you can actually have these fields show up on the Kindful plug-in donation form. After about 5 hours of frustration, I got this feature going.
We just completed our conversion to bloomerang, and we're so surprised (and disappointed) that the online donation form does not have a simple way for the user to make a gift as a tribute in memory or in honor of. This is basic donor cultivation information. Hoping this is released soon!
We have yet to launch online forms for accepting donations, but plan to do it in the next month or so. We are very concerned that there is not functionality associated with accepting tribute donations online.

Yes! Tributes and/or general notes would be extremely helpful. We had this in eTapestry and it was used more often that it was not.
