As part of the Dashboard updates, we will now enforce a date range set by a user for Campaign goal tracking. A user can set the filtering of the goal by Fiscal Year, Calendar Year, or by a Custom Range, and the Campaign progress will only count transactions within that range.
agree with Guest post on 8/3/22.
Either that date filter needs to be removed completely (because it's really not necessary if the intent is to show a campaign's status--doesn't matter when the donation was received if it's allocated to the campaign) or there needs to be an actual way for users to adjust it.
I don't think this is working quite right. On the dashboard, I am showing my FY21 and FY22 campaigns, but the reporting there is being constrained by a donation date range that I can't adjust.
My FY21 campaign is showing as empty. When I click on "view transactions" for FY21, the backend filters includes "date is this year," which doesn't make sense to have. If I remove that filter, all my FY21 donations show up, but there doesn't seem to be a way to save this and connect that change to the dashboard.
In addition, my FY22 campaign is not showing correctly, because it also includes the "date is this year" filter. However, we have a donation that was given in FY21 for our FY22 campaign, so it's not showing up. Again, if I remove the date filter, there is no way to save that so it connects to the dashboard.
