See in-kind fair market value (instead of amount) on the timeline

We receive a lot of in-kind donations. These all show up in the constituent timeline as donations with amount of $0.00. It would be much more helpful if we could customize the timeline display to show more relevant information for in-kind donations. We would like to display two custom fields we have created: in kind amount and in kind item.

    Agreed! If we're not supposed to assign a value, that required and timeline-shown field should be either the value and/or the description.

    I agree! We would love to have the ability to view the total fair market value of in-kind donations within the timeline. Currently, only a value of 0 is displayed, making it difficult to distinguish between financial and in-kind donations at a glance on our end as well.

    This feature would streamline the process for users by providing a clear distinction between financial and in-kind donations at a glance!
