Accrediting past volunteer hours to the organization rather than the existing opportunity

It is useful to accredit volunteer's past hours to the organization as a whole rather the to a specific existing opportunity, because our organization's opportunities combine/dissolve over time and it is not suitable to track the historical hours based on existing opportunities.
