Improve task reminder tools

I also agree that this should be prioritized. Tasks seem like they are a tool that is similar to making a planner or calendar and I currently do not use the email feature in part because it doesn't have a lot of usefulness with just telling you when the task is created. I would use it if there was the ability to set reminders! Thanks.

The ability to manually send a reminder to the assignee, as well as the ability to schedule auto-reminders (with customization) would be great. If the only time you receive an email is when the task is initially assigned, then it's simply going to get lost in folks' inboxes. The task feature needs to allow for custom and manual reminders or it's not a practical feature.

Yes it would be great to assign a day to receive an email reminder rather than only getting it when it's overdue.

More options on email notifications for tasks before or when they are due, would be fantastic.

Great suggestions! I think you should be able to customize when a task alert happens (5 days before due/3 days before due/etc.) so tath you have time to complete the task before it's late.

I agree with the other two comments. I do not need an email when the task is assigned. I need the reminder when the task is scheduled.
