I am trying to set up an automatic email gift acknowledgement. Using the template you have, I made one that works for us but the locked section with organization information and unsubscribe language is confusing. The text says that the donor is receiving this email because of an online form submission. However, with automatic receipting, it may be that I want to send this after someone sends in a check and I enter that gift. I would like to edit the text to make it more generic.
I wholeheartedly support this request. We currently do not use automatic receipting because this un-editable block of text says that they are receiving the email because of an online form submission, when they could be receiving the email because they mailed in a cash or check donation.
