How many votes do you need to prioritize requests? 203 seems to be a pretty good number!

This is standard in most other databases and is so difficult to work well without this feature.

Please allow bulk updates/changes on custom fields in all locations: constituents, transactions, interactions, notes, etc

Please! Especially when it comes to pick multiple fields, which you just can't replace the data in via an upload. You can only add another field. We move around a lot of constituent "attributes" around a year, and unless we make the field pick 1 option only, the old attribute has to be removed manually.

Please make this happen. I had to manually update one custom field of about 200 records to accomplish a mass update. Our old system before BLM - which was based on excel - could do a mass update very easily. Why can't BLM?! It's obvious functionality that's missing. So disappointed in BLM.

PLEASE make this possible! Currently I'm doing a whole crazy export/ import for data, which in my old database could have been done internally

I agree that this can already be done via a data upload -- but only partially. You cannot delete the information in a custom field via an upload. So, for example, if you want the value to be blank, the only way to do that is through manual edits. Or if the field can accept multiple values from a picklist, and a constituent has values A, B, and C in that field, you cannot overwrite those values and change it to value D via a data upload. It would be VERY nice to have that ability!

You can! In your import file, you can add a column with the name of your custom field in the first row of that column. You'll want to be sure that the name listed in your file matches with the title of the custom field exactly to ensure that the data is matched to that field. You can use any custom field in your database within an import file as well, depending on the type of information you're looking to import.
