You have a mental playbook of how you'd like to respond to certain key events in a constituent's journey to become a donor and renew their support - but it can be hard to stay on top of things and keep it up consistently.
Examples of what this might include:
Initiating donor journeys based on a variety of events (when a large gift is made, X days after the latest gift, when a credit card expiration is on the horizon)
1st time donation Welcome
Drip- engagement- stay top of mind
Newsletter journey
Birthday
Building out multichannel online and offline communication plans with a variety of touch points phased throughout the donor journey (assign tasks, send emails, get mobile app notifications)
I think this would be great, too.
The previous CRM we moved from to Bloomerang allowed us to automate tasks to donations. For example, if a donation was made of $2500 (Major gift), it would assign tasks over the course of the year. Tasks such as thank you phone call from the executive director, thank you note from the board, invitation to a tour of the program etc. We called this our stewardship plan. I am doing this mannually now but as we grow both our team and our support this would be ideal to integrate into bloomerang.
Yes!! This would be great! I handle this now on a spreadsheet but would much rather have it internal to Bloomerang. Being able to pre-build journeys custom to my organization, constituents, fundraising goals, and event attendance and being able to automate when they 'trigger' would be amazing!
