Ability to lock a constituent record so that it cannot be merged
We have many records of people with similar names and sometimes these records get merged when they shouldn't be. It would be great if we could lock VIP records to prevent them from being merged or deleted.
The ability to change the custom field type from Number to text would be great. I understand that the opposite might not be possible but from number to text won't hurt technically since you can safely convert number to text.

Make it easier for users to identify if they're an Admin or standard user, let standard users see which specific permissions they do and don't have, and clearly indicate who a user can contact in their team to get their access changed.
