See recent constituents from the search bar so that you don't need to go to the Recent Constituent sections on the home page or constituent dashboard to quickly trace your steps back to where you left off.

View specific custom fields on the Constituent Dashboard and search results

It would be great to have the ability to customize the search screen results. There are several fields depicted, which is great, but others such as constituency or class years would be helpful when two or more constituents have the same name.

Change search type after entering search string

It would be nice to be able to type into the top search bar and then select from the drop down (address/name/etc) without it clearing the search bar (instead of needing to select the drop down before typing anything in the search bar)

Display search results by sort name, not full name

If I'm looking for Mary Doe's account, it's much easier to see Doe, Mary than Mary Doe.

Search for a constituent based on just the email domain

On email search, allow the domain to be searched (for example, for my email I could search @varietyiowa.com and it would pull up alicia@varietyiowa.com)

Reduce search bar sensitivity to spaces

We have many constituents with spaces in their last names. Searching for some of these constituents is frustrating because the search bar does not recognize names if we don't get the space/no space correct. For example: Bob Vander Molen vs. Bob Va...

Don't show deceased constituents in search results

Be able to have a single file for all deceased donors. One would be able to find donors by their name - should that ever be necessary, but they would be in one file and would not show up on constituent searches

Way to search for a constituent by name if they have a one-character name

Way to search for a constituent by name if they have a one-character name without either adding details to one of their name fields or pulling a report. example: "X" instead of "X (formerly known as Twitter)"
